TOWN OF GLOVER
2021 ANNUAL TOWN MEETING UPDATE
Due to the COVID pandemic the Glover Selectboard has been given the authority, by the State of Vermont, and have decided to hold the 2021 Annual Town Meeting, scheduled for March 2, 2021, be held by Australian Ballot for 2021 only.
Australian Ballot voting means you vote with a paper ballot, upon each Article listed on the Warning, and submit your ballot to the Town Clerk. (There will be no Annual Town Meeting at the Glover Town Hall this year.) The Articles on the ballot include voting upon elected positions, the budget, appropriations, etc. You may return your completed ballot by mail, dropping it off or voting in person on March 2, 2021 at the official polling place between the hours of 10am to 7pm,
An informational meeting will be held to answer any questions, about information in the town report, prior to March 2, 2021. The date will be announced on the website, Facebook and posted at the official posting sites.
If you would like your name included on the ballot to be considered for a specific elected position (ie: Selectboard member) you must submit a completed “Consent for Candidate” form to the Glover Town Clerk by 5pm on January 25, 2021.

Moderator – Present incumbent is Nickolas Ecker-Racz
Town Clerk – Present incumbent is Jessica Sweeney
Treasurer – Present incumbent is Jessica Sweeney
Selectboard Member – open
Auditor – Present incumbent is Rebecca Young
Lister – Present incumbent is Robert (Ted) Young
Library Trustee – Present incumbent is Linda Elbow
Cemetery Commissioner – Present incumbent is Ricky Blanchard
Cemetery Sexton – Present incumbent is Jessica Sweeney
Collector of Delinquent Taxes – Present incumbent is Donna Sweeney
First Constable – Present incumbent is Job Breitmeyer
Second Constable – open
Grand Juror – Present incumbent is Milton Borrell
Town Agent – Present incumbent is Jessica Sweeney
You can find the “Consent for Candidate” form on the website or call the Town Clerk’s office to make arrangements to pick it up or have it mailed.
The Annual Report will still be mailed to each home.
If you would like to receive a ballot, you must request one. You may request a ballot be mailed by calling the Town Clerk’s office at 525-6227 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. BEWARE: Ballots will not be mailed to each registered voter, you must request one.
Summary of Deadlines:
January 14, 2021: deadline to petition for an article to be included in the Annual report/Warning;
January 25, 2021: deadline to submit a “Consent for Candidate” form to put your name on the ballot.
You may return your completed ballot by mail, dropping it off or voting in person on March 2, 2021 at the official polling place between the hours of 10am to 7pm.
