Insulating Window Inserts

Glover Energy Committee will be offering WindowDressers insulating window inserts again in 2024. The inserts are custom fit interior storm windows – a pine frame wrapped on each side with a heat-shrink plastic film. They greatly reduce heat loss through windows and save money on fuel while making homes more comfortable. They are custom measured to fit each window and assembled in community workshops by volunteers – which help keep prices reasonable. Up to 10 inserts are available for free for households with limited income.
