Thank You Volunteers

The Town of Glover was amazed at the outpouring of support for the Senior Meal Site and the Town Hall facility in a clean-up effort after the flood. The downstairs of the town hall sustained a considerable amount of water and mud damage affecting not only the hall itself but the contents of the meal site. Many came to help inventory the affected food content and dispose of damaged goods. Helping hands washed and sanitized all furniture, shelves and pots and pans and dishes, then moved everything to be temporarily stored in the upstairs of the hall.

We would like to list all who came and gave a helping hand. Patsy Tompkins – Director of the senior meals, Richard Jesmer – Assistant Director, Donna Greenwood – Meal Prep., Meghan Wayland, Ally Howell, Terese Perron, Joan Alexander, Paul Curino, Mary Anne Royer, Tina Ghantous, Nila Mahar, Randy Williams, Heidi Ecker-Racz, Kate Wolf, Liz Nelson, Mike Reddy, Hillary Savage, Tom Jesmer, Jeremy & Leanne Harple, Heidi Riendeau and Kelsey.  I apologize if your name was inadvertently omitted. Special thanks for those who brought fans and dehumidifiers that are still in use.

Again, thank you and it could not have been accomplished without you. We still have a lot of work to do. The sheet rock and insulation were removed and will need to be replaced and there is still more to be removed. We need to reinstall cabinets and the sink and we need a new/used set of cabinets to hold that double sink.
